Elementary Level Homeschool Art Education September Workshop! *NEW*
Foster your child’s love of art, knowledge, and ability with our Homeschool Art Workshops! At Art in Mind we realize how important it is for homeschool parents to give their kids the best possible education they can. Integral to an excellent educational program is the inclusion of fine arts, which has been proven to be essential in so many ways. The benefits include enhancing motor skills, fostering creativity, learning about history, recognizing cultural differences, and so much more. An education rich in art education encourages individuality, creative thinking, and the appreciation of the differences among others, which will impact one’s future.
Join us for fresh new workshops! Fee is $75 for three hours of in-depth instruction. All supplies included. Please send your student with a drink and an allergy safe snack (ex. gram crackers, pretzels, Cheez-it, goldfish, fruit, or vegetables).

COLOR THEORY IN DEPTH / ARTIST STUDY FRANK STELLA:
We will begin our Homeschool Art Education year with an in-depth look and review on color theory. A solid understanding in this area is vital in the creation of all art. Students will complete projects to aid in their understanding of color groupings, value, hue, intensity, tint, shade and more! Learn about a contemporary artist as we discuss and learn about the progression and evolution of an artist’s style. We will view examples of artwork in a series, define what abstract art means, see examples of how abstract artists get ideas for their work, and create an abstract artwork inspired by the art of Frank Stella.
Due to the limited space in each class, we cannot issue refunds or store credit if you must cancel your registration with less than 7 days notice of the workshop date. In-person classes cannot be exchanged for take-home kits.
