Homeschool Art Education Program *NEW* Upcycled Art Collective: Sculpture

Foster your child’s love of art, knowledge, and ability with our Homeschool Art Workshops! At Art in Mind we realize how important it is for homeschool parents to give their kids the best possible education they can. Integral to an excellent educational program is the inclusion of fine arts, which has been proven to be essential in so many ways.  The benefits include enhancing motor skills, fostering creativity, learning about history, recognizing cultural differences, and so much more. An education rich in art education encourages individuality, creative thinking, and the appreciation of the differences among others, which will impact one’s future.

Winter/Spring Semester 2026:
Upcycled Art Collective: Sculpture

What if yesterday’s recyclables could become today’s masterpiece? In this engaging series, students explore creative techniques artists use to transform simple recycled items into one-of-a-kind artworks. Working as a team, they’ll bring an inventive recycled village sculpture to life.

Students will explore the work of contemporary artists who create striking recycled sculptures. They’ll then collaborate to develop a unified design and theme for a three-dimensional village built entirely from repurposed materials. After choosing the section of the village they want to create, each student will construct and paint their piece using a wide range of recycled items. At the end of the series, every student will take home their own segment of the collaborative village. Throughout the process, classes will foster creativity, design skills, and teamwork. Art vocabulary, elements, and principles will be incorporated richly in the experience.

Due to the limited space in each class, we cannot issue refunds or store credit if you must cancel your registration with less than 7 days notice of the start date. In-person classes cannot be exchanged for take-home kits.
