DECEMBER: PRINTMAKING / VARIOUS ARTISTS

Our December Homeschool Art program will focus on the techniques involved in printmaking. We will examine the work of several different artists. Students can also choose to make holiday cards or gifts with prints.

Fridays (Class): 12/6/19, 12/13/19, 12/20/19

We’re switching up the schedule this year! Since littles are often up early (too early sometimes, ha!) and teenagers often like to sleep in, we are reversing our class order. Plus, we’re excited to try an additional block of OPEN ART time twice a month just for homeschoolers! Our new schedule:

FRIDAYS—CLASSES (3x/month)

9:30am–10am: Preschool  /  10:15–11:15: Elementary School / 11:30–12:30: Middle and High School

PRESCHOOL: Handprints and stamping are forms of printmaking. Let’s stamp up some fun! Students can also choose to make holiday cards or gifts with prints. Ages 4-6 / All Supplies Included / 9:30 am – 10:00 am

ELEMENTARY: Printmaking can be a fun and exciting art form. We’ll gain experience in producing our own prints and learn the basics of this medium. Students can also choose to make holiday cards or gifts with prints. Grades 1-6 / All Supplies Included / 10:15 am – 11:15 am

MIDDLE/HIGH: Printmaking is a great medium to explore formal concepts such as composition, line, and texture. We’ll explore this rich art form while using prints from various artists as models. Students can also choose to make holiday cards or gifts with prints. Grades 7 & up / All Supplies Included / 11:30 am – 12:30 pm

NEW! $10 Tuesdays: Open Studio Time for Homeschoolers

Our $10 Tuesdays Homeschool Art open art block will provide extra time for students to work on projects and for additional one-on-one instruction. $10 per one hour of instruction. Please register 24 hours in advance.
