Middle/High School Level Homeschool Art Education December Workshop! *NEW*
Foster your child’s love of art, knowledge, and ability with our Homeschool Art Workshops! At Art in Mind we realize how important it is for homeschool parents to give their kids the best possible education they can. Integral to an excellent educational program is the inclusion of fine arts, which has been proven to be essential in so many ways. The benefits include enhancing motor skills, fostering creativity, learning about history, recognizing cultural differences, and so much more. An education rich in art education encourages individuality, creative thinking, and the appreciation of the differences among others, which will impact one’s future.
Join us for fresh new workshops! Fee is $75 for three hours of in-depth instruction. All supplies included. Please send your student with a drink and an allergy safe snack (ex. gram crackers, pretzels, Cheez-it, goldfish, fruit, or vegetables).
In-person class sessions are once month on Fridays, at these times:
12:30 – 3:30 pm: Middle and High School (purchase tickets below on this page)
Donatello was an extremely influential Italian sculptor during the 15th century. While exploring his life and work, we will be creating detailed sculptures of our own. In this series, students will practice facial proportions and positions with graphite, then take that knowledge and transform it to 3 dimensional work by sculpting a clay bust. Art vocabulary, elements, and principles will be incorporated richly in the experience.
Due to the limited space in each class, we cannot issue refunds or store credit if you must cancel your registration with less than 7 days notice of the workshop date. In-person classes cannot be exchanged for take-home kits.
