All of our instructed paint classes are FAMILY FRIENDLY! This is a great way to spend quality time with your kids. Come to our studio and enjoy some family time, creatively! We also welcome those with needs to attend any of our regular classes or Open Studio hours with an aid or family member.

Afterschool Art Club – Sept/Oct 2026
In this fun and engaging after-school program, students will explore a variety of creative art projects while experimenting with different materials, techniques, and ideas.
Each session will feature a unique make-and-take project inspired by a range of artistic themes and mediums. Students will have the opportunity to paint, draw, sculpt, build, and create while developing confidence, creativity, and problem-solving skills. This program encourages self-expression, imagination, and hands-on exploration in a relaxed and supportive environment where every student can create something they’re proud to take home!
This small group program will be for all school aged students; instructions and challenges will be tailored to different age levels. All supplies included / No experience necessary.
4-week series will be on Thursdays from 4:30–5:30 pm. Full series fee is $132 for 4 dates. If you are joining late, the cost is prorated.

Workshops for Kids:
Drop your kids off at the studio for a special workshop! Open to all school-aged kids. Younger children also welcome with an adult.
6/13/26: Flowers! – Kids create a flower arrangement and paint a canvas painting.
6/27/26: K-Pop – Kids create a fun Derpy Tiger craft and paint a canvas painting.
7/11/26: Fish! – Kids create a watercolor fish project and paint a canvas painting.

MINI-Art Enrichment:
We do not have dates planned for Mini-Art at this time, but we welcome younger children to our monthly "Workshops for Kids" or our "Open Art Studio" hours with an adult.

Here at Art in Mind, we want to pass on the importance of Art Education to our earliest learners. This class focuses on children ages 3-6. We are very excited to teach this age once again!
Our MINI-Art curriculum is centered around literature and a variety of interesting, open-ended materials. An interactive story time will be followed with exploring a variety of art media, which will inspire creativity. During each class your child will design a unique project that they will take home. Parents may drop off or join-in! All supplies included/no experience necessary!
Comics Club!
Your incredible characters and ideas will make awesome comics! Come join a fun environment focusing on character design, story development, plot, and fostering creativity.
5 week series will be held Mondays from 4:30–5:30pm at our studio. Per series fee is $150 (5 dates). If you are joining late the cost is pro-rated. All supplies included / No experience necessary

These lessons are for those who would love private art instruction at any age to increase their skills. We instruct for most forms of art media and techniques, including drawing, painting, watercolor, pastels, printing, perspective, shadowing, crafting, and more. We offer these lessons to artists of all abilities, even those with special needs who are just looking for an expressive outlet. No experience necessary.

Leave your busy schedules and the stresses of the world at the door as you enter our peaceful studio atmosphere. Open Studio is typically held every Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, plus many days off from school. No experience is necessary, and all ages are welcome – a great option for family time! We welcome those with needs to attend any of our regular classes or Open Studio hours with an aid or family member.
Open Art Studio is a drop-in time that costs $28 per 1 hour session to paint one of our hundreds of designs on an 11″ x 14″ canvas. We will pre-sketch images on the canvas for you! You may choose other surfaces (mosaics, sea glass, wood, slate, tile, or glass) or upgrade your canvas size for a small additional supply fee. If a project takes more than an hour you will be charged a $14 finish-up fee. We offer 4 special paintings each month for just $24 each (1 hour session). On Thursdays seniors paint any painting for $24 (11″ x 14″ canvas). We also have various art media for those who just want to work with paper, and we have a few crafty projects as well.
No preregistration is necessary – check our calendar for Open Art hours and all our other events.
Open Art Studio is not a fully instructed class, though we are here to guide you and to provide basic art instruction, samples, ideas, as well as various stencils/tracers to help ensure your success. Please keep in mind that you will be working independently as we come around the room to assist.

Summer time and school breaks couldn't be more fun for kids & teens at Art in Mind!
Our summer schedule consists of weekly art camps, each with a different theme, taught by excellent educated instructors. These exciting camps will develop artistic skills utilizing a variety of media and approaches in a fun small group setting.
Our weekly camp themes and projects change every summer, allowing kids to come back each year to try something new!
We also often offer mini-camps/workshops during school breaks - keep checking in!

Come celebrate with us creatively for your birthday party! Hosting parties is one of our favorite specialties here at the studio. It is always amazing to watch the unique creativity of a young artist come to life with a paint brush and canvas! Their creativity also blooms when making a fun imaginary fairy garden or whipping up a culinary delight!
